We're goin' to the zoo, zoo zoo!

Today was a busy day. Mommy and Daddy took vacation days from work and we went to the zoo with papaw, Brenda, Ryan, Abigail and Dan. Bryce really enjoyed all the animals. He says his favorite was "the dolphins, - and the bears, - and the giraffe's - and the penguins, etc" - I think you get the picture. He loved it all :)

Mommy's Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday and we had a very busy day. So... this morning, Bryce finally talked daddy into helping him make me a Lightening McQueen cake for my birthday. Here are a few pictures. It was very good and very special to me :)

A few fun pictures of the boys

I haven't had much time to post lately but I thought I'd share a few pictures of the boys.

Last Saturday Bryce put on his green rubber boots (which he calls his "Woody Cowboy" boots). Once he had them on, he decided that his brother should have boots too. He found these snow boots, pushed his brother down then proceeded to "help" him put the boots on. It was awfully cute :)

I was cleaning the house this morning and I thought the boys were being unusually quiet. I found them playing with puzzles together in the toyroom

Silly Safari's with Amazon John

Tonight I took Bryce (past his bedtime) to the library. We watched "Amazon John" tell the best stories about all different kinds of animals. He probably had 10 different animals there including a HUGE frog, a rooster, a turtle, two bunnies, grasshoppers, a tarantula, a snake and a kinkajou. We were about the third family in line so we got to sit right in the front row. Which was pretty cool. Then, after the show, he let us pet some of the animals. Bryce wasn't scared at all! It was so much fun :)

(ps - Bryce calls these bunnies "Bunny Poo Poo" instead of Bunny Foo Foo, he he)

Silly bucket heads...

A favorite evening activity at our house is... Walking around with a bucket on your head making silly noises. Silly boys :)

Blake turns 1!

We celebrated Blake's first birthday this past weekend. He wasn't too "into" opening his gifts but he sure enjoyed spending time with our family and friends. (On the other hand, his brother had the presents covered!)
